Get ready for a tried and true journey of a lifetime! A comprehensive, challenging, vulnerable and emotional journey that allows the student to become a confident and courageous yoga teacher.
All teachers are Yoga Alliance approved and certified.
Overview of Curriculum
Techniques Training/Practice:
Asanas - Standing Poses, Twists, Backbends, Forward Bends, Balances, Hip Openers, Inversions and Restorative, all with correct warm ups.
Effective sequencing of postures as they relate to a Vinyasa Yoga class.
Pranayama:
Ujjayi, Dirgha, Nadi Shodhana and Khapalabati
Basic Meditation
Teaching Methodology
Learn, practice and teach up to 40 postures (asanas)
Principles of Demonstration
Observation
Assisting Instruction
Anatomy & Physiology
Understand the functioning of the muscular-skeletal system
Biochemical benefits of practicing Yoga

Certification Requirements:
Certification is based on the performance and demonstration of your teaching ability, attitude, and satisfactory completion of all assignments and exams. To become certified in this course, you must demonstrate a basic understanding and integration of the asanas, philosophy, heart language, and other teaching methodologies. When all of the above is achieved, you will be certified as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher at the 200 hour level.
Additional Certification Requirements:
Must be able to perform basic asanas with integration, precision, and heart. You need to be able to demonstrate the basic alignment principles and attitude in your own body.
Written assignments to be completed on time
Pass the written tests with a score of 90% or higher.
Successfully complete all homework and required reading.
Sign the code of ethics agreement.
Pay all fees and outstanding balances.
Must have full attendance, participation, and a yogic attitude
